When seeking an appraiser, it is important that the individual has formal training and is familiar with your type of property and the different valuations applicable to your situation.

Appraiser Credentials:

Dana Holland-Beickert is an accredited appraiser with a specialty in fine and decorative arts.  Accredited by the International Society of Appraisers, she has over 25 years experience in the study and valuation of art.  She holds BA and MA degrees in art history, and has worked for museums and galleries for most of her career, including 12 years as a curator at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art.

Appraising since 2002, Dana has completed the core course in personal property appraising, a number of specialty courses, as well as the 15-hr course and examination on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the Congressionally recognized set of appraisal standards promulgated by The Appraisal Foundation.

She is a current accredited member of International Society of Appraisers and a charter member of the Tennessee Chapter of ISA.

With knowledge of the constantly changing art market, Dana can also discretely assist in the sale of your fine art in the appropriate market.  She has knowledge of both the auction market, as well as the private sector and has experience in handling all aspects of the sale.
